Gordon Hamilton School of Motoring was launched in September 2003. The sole proprietor, Gordon Hamilton, who is Grade 6 (the highest possible) offers learner drivers the opportunity to try a new and exciting driving school, specializing in intensive courses around the UK.

Gordon first qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor back in 1975 and has spent most of his working life with a national driving school in various managerial roles. Since 1992 he has also been involved in Instructor Training to varying degrees as well as helping drivers prepare for the Advanced Driving Test.

Gordon specialises in teaching complete beginners and also helping those who have failed one or more tests and don't know how to make that final step to success. "There are many good Instructors out there doing a good job, but sometimes an instructor will have a pupil that struggles to make that final step to success and the change itself can be the catalyst to passing the test!"

To stand out from the rest, Gordon offers an individually tailored plan for each pupil starting with an assessment lesson to determine number of hours required, best frequency, and whether intensive, semi-intensive or just weekly sessions are best. Help and advice will be provided for the theory test and also the new "Tell me - Show me" questions that are now being introduced at the end of the practical test.
