January 2008. The year has started well for Darren
from North Walsham with a pass on 7th January, with 6 driving
faults. (Maximum allowed is 15). There are some spaces for new
pupils and it would be good to have a few more intensive, or
semi-intensive courses elsewhere in the UK. I have already enjoyed
success in Scarborough, Winchester, Slough, Weybridge and Watford
and would welcome enquiries in Yorkshire and Scotland in particular.
December 2007. This year has continued in the same
vein as 2006 with most of the work being "Fleet" work but with the
addition of now being involved with the delivery of SPEED AWARENESS
COURSES here in Norfolk, through my connection with Driving Services
Ltd, who merged with Drivetech a few months ago. Those learner
Pupils who I did teach in 2007 have enjoyed an above average success
rate again with 7 first-time passes out of 13 which still represents
a considerably higher success rate than the national average
although admittedly. a little down on 2006. The 7 first-time passes
were Martin (North Walsham), John (Hoveton), Charlotte (Lingwood),
Tristan (Little Plumstead), Eleanor (Gunton), Aaron (Thetford) and
Lance (Norwich).
October 2006. Time to review progress for the year.
Fleet Training continues to take up most of my time but there have
been 10 Learner pupils who took their practical test since March, 7
of them FIRST TIME PASSES! The national average pass rate for first
time tests is around 30%. (The overall national pass rate is 42%.)
Congratulations to the following: Chris from Knapton,
Beatrize from Chelsea, Joseph from Dereham, Nathan from
Ormesby, Sandy from North Walsham, Alexandra from Hethersett
and Ben from Fleggburgh.
March 2006
Over the last few months I have been engaged mostly on Fleet
Training work in various locations around the South and East of
England. There are still
spaces for a few additional learner pupils.
June
The intensive courses have proved to be very popular and we already
have had success in Weybridge, Watford, Winchester, Slough and Scarborough.
In fact Brian (44), who lives in Bradford, but wanted the course
from his caravan at Flamborough (we go anywhere!), passed with just
3 minor faults, taking the 35 hours course preceded by an additional
4 hour session on a previous Saturday. Well done Brian!
Closer to home we have had success with
Adam from Norwich, Oliver, James, and Lauren all from North Walsham,
and Nicola from Hopton.
GHSOM has also been doing more and more
FLEET TRAINING work across South and East England which fits in well
with assessments for intensive courses at locations away from
Norfolk.

December
David did indeed pass his test before
Christmas - only test in December.
November
November has been quite a quiet month for tests with only two
taken. One Pass and one Fail. Congratulations to Hannah from
Walcott who
passed with only one driving fault!! The maximum allowed is 15!
David hopes to re-sit it again before Christmas as he only messed
up on the reversing exercise - one that he normally has no
problem with! He was rather disappointed to say the least."
August
During August, our
driving test pass rate climbed once again, lifting our pass rate to
85% (11 out of last 13), well
above the national average!
Our most recent test
successes were courtesy of Sheila from Stokesby and Emma from Gorleston. Congratulations to
them both for an
accomplished drive.

Motoring we will work with you to find you the best possible
solution for your needs, whatever the time or place!
